SALT LAKE CITY — It was a busy weekend for crews from the Utah Department of Transportation, who demolished and replaced the 1300 East bridge that runs over I-80 in Salt Lake City.
As a part of the I-80 and I-215 renewed project, the new bridge was built next to the existing bridge. The existing bridge was then demolished so that crews could slide the new bridge into place.
