Kimball Art Center opens Between Life and Land and Wasatch Back Student Art Show, April 21

PARK CITY, Utah — Discover a deeper connection to the land journeying through the second chapter of the Between Life and Land: Identity exhibition series at Kimball Art Center. The work of 15 talented artists explore how values, practices, histories, and fiction contribute to identity and relationships with the environments we call home. This exhibit will be on display from April 21 to July 9.

Artists include Adam Bateman, Ann Böttcher, Raven Chacon, Blue Curry, Al Denyer, Daniel George, Rashawn Griffin, Levi Jackson, Ron Linn, Richard Misrach, Jared Ragland, Wendy Red Star, Jerrin Wagstaff, Jaclyn Wright, and Steven Yazzie. More than half of the exhibiting artists live or have lived in Utah.

Join in the festivities on opening night, Friday, April 21, from 6-8 p.m. RSVP to partake in live music, light bites, refreshments from the cash bar, and mingle with the artists featured in this exhibition.

The Wasatch Back Student Art Show features over 300 K-12 students who have put their hearts and souls into their artwork exploring their relationships with the land. This exhibit opens Friday, April 21, and runs until May 21. The exhibit opening gathering is from 2-5 p.m. with light refreshments and activities for all ages.
