Multiple crashes in Parleys Canyon I-80

A band of heavy snow and blowing wind has impacted driving conditions across Summit County this afternoon. UDOT warns of near whiteout conditions and is urging commuters to drive with caution.

Traffic in Parleys Canyon is currently moving slow with several accidents being reported by UDOT. As of 2:45 p.m. I-80 in Parleys is open with approved traction device required for all traffic going eastbound. Chains required for semis going Westbound.
