Casting open for Kevin Costner series set to be filmed in Utah

UTAH — Attention aspiring actors, casting is currently under way for the next part of Kevin Costner’s “Horizon” Western series.

Casting directors are looking for Native, First Nations, or Indigenous, adult males ages 18-40 years old. Applicants must be over the age of 18, and skilled horseback riders.

Filming will take place April-August 2023 in multiple locations throughout Utah, including Emery, Grand, Kane, San Juan, and Washington counties. The deadline to submit an application is March 12, 2023.

Costner previously filmed several seasons of his Paramount series “Yellowstone” in the Summit County area, and has utilized other parts of Utah for filming earlier parts of his new “Horizon” series.
