Roof fire at Storm Cycles in Newpark Town Center

UPDATE 1:10 p.m.: The fire was contained to the roof area. The building interior and an adjacent building suffered extensive water damage, and the fire is currently under investigation.

Crews left the scene at 11:25 a.m.

PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Fire District is currently on scene fighting a roof fire at the Storm Cycles bike shop at the Newpark Town Center.

The building, located at 1153 Center Drive in Park City, has sustained a 20 foot by 20 foot burn through the roof’s membrane and into the structure.

According to Fire Chief Bob Zanetti, crews were dispatched to the location at approximately 9:40 a.m. following reports of flames coming from the building.
