Get ready to Shred for Red on opening day at Deer Valley Resort

PARK CITY, Utah —  Deer Valley Resort announced its opening day Shred for Red Fundraiser on December 3 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The fundraiser will benefit The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the fight against blood cancer. The annual event will be in its fifth year and consist of on-mountain challenges and activities.

Participation in Shred for Red requires a donation of a minimum of $500 for adults and $300 for children under 12. In addition to a full-day ski lift ticket at the resort, participants will receive a Shred for Red bib, an on-mountain scavenger hunt and slalom racecourse, an opportunity to meet and ski with Olympians, and an invitation to an Après-ski reception at Deer Valley’s Snow Park Lodge.

There are also discounted accommodations for participants at The Lodges at Deer Valley or Silver Baron Lodge with prices of $298 for hotel rooms and $392 for one-bedroom suites with a two-night minimum stay required.

Shred for Red participants will also have access to 25% off equipment rentals. Helmets can also be rented for an additional fee.
