PCFD saves dog named Lola from drainage culvert

PARK CITY, Utah — Park City Fire District (PCFD) responded to a call from dispatch at around 9 a.m. on Tuesday that a dog was trapped in a drainage culvert at the intersection of Kilby Road and Crest Drive. Firefighters arrived on the scene to find that Lola, the dog, was trapped behind several boulders blocking her exit and could not turn around as the space was too small.

Firefighters and EMTs on the scene removed several boulders to create enough of an exit to rescue Lola.

Lola was not injured and was reunited with her family.
