LOCOCO showcases cocoa at Copper Moose and Create PC

PARK CITY, Utah — In 2020, amidst the throes of the pandemic, Park City resident, Kaitlin McHugh, whipped up a batch of healthy cocoa for herself and friend Anna Bloom. With the wear and tear of sheltering in place, McHugh and Bloom were searching for healthy options that helped to calm and destress.  It was then the idea for a business began to take form, and LOCOCO was born.

LOCOCO is a nutrient-dense cocoa elixir that’s dairy free, gluten free, low in sugar, and packed with stress-regulating functional mushrooms including chaga, maitake, cordyceps, and lion’s mane. The blend of ingredients is crafted as the perfect concoction to relax and unwind, while creating a healthy alternative to a typical hot chocolate.  In fact, LOCOCO’s reputation has made its way through town, and is available at six Park City retail outlets.

Want to get a taste of this magical elixir yourself? The founders will be hosting two LOCOCO pop-ups this weekend in Park City; Saturday, at the Copper Moose Farm Stand, from 11 am to 2 p.m. and 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Create PC on Main Street, during the 2022 Kimball Arts Festival.
