Structure fire at Waldorf Astoria in Canyons Village under investigation

PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Fire District (PCFD) responded to a structure fire at the Waldorf Astoria hotel on Frostwood Dr. at 2:47 a.m. early Saturday morning.

Firefighters helped with evacuating occupants from the building and quickly extinguished the fire, according to PCFD. There were no reported injuries.

“Fire was contained to the exterior and interior chase,” PCFD said. “Firefighters completed overhaul looking for any Extention in the void space in the ceiling.”

The incident is currently under investigation.
