Runaway juveniles wreck vehicle and vandalize cabins in Kamas

KAMAS, Utah. — Summit County Sheriff’s deputies were called upon to provide assistance to Wasatch County deputies after two runaway juveniles stole a vehicle and severely vandalized three cabins in Kamas.
After being located by Wasatch County deputies, the juveniles admitted to breaking into and severely vandalizing four cabins in the Canyon Rim area. Upon investigation however, only three cabins were discovered to have been broken into and vandalized.

Join NowShortly after making contact with the juveniles, a stolen vehicle involved in the incident was found wrecked in the same area.
Contact was then made with Wasatch County who advised that the vehicle and juveniles were being removed from NCIC and the vehicle would be recovered by the registered owner at a later date.
