Park City Farmer’s Market season kickoff

This Wednesday, May 25, is the second Park City Farmer’s Market of the 2022 season!

The farmer’s market showcases local growers, bakers, and artisans in lower Canyon’s parking lot every Wednesday from 11 am to 5 pm.

Although market-goers need to wait several more weeks to witness summer’s total abundance of regional produce and fruits, plenty of early-season vendors offer up a variety of Park City’s best-tasting edibles.

Create a shopping list and plan on sampling locally grown delicacies. For European-style bread and pastries, head to Volkers. To taste sustainably caught Alaskan seafood, stop by Frisky Fresh Fish. Pair Park City Creamery’s award-winning cheese with Beltex Meats for an ultimate charcuterie board. Whip up an early-season salad with sensational greens from Mad Snacks Produce, sprouts from Twig and Branch Gardens, drizzled with Ioulia Olive Oil Co. Grecian olive oil. Stop by Epicurean Chefs for pizza dough, marinara, and made-fresh mozzarella for homemade pizza ingredients.

The market offers plenty of options for folks looking for gifts. Check the heart rocks and Tom Ballard’s mission at Take Heart Creative Studio for an authentic, heartfelt present. Practice sustainability, bring empty containers, and stock up on hygiene and cleaning products at FulFILLed mobile re-filling station.

Each week will bring additional vendors, and it won’t be long until we see a return of long-standing favorites like Weeks Berries of Paradise, Smith Orchards, and Ranui Gardens.

Beyond food and gifts, musicians fill the warming air with melodies. Opening week, globally recognized musician and Park City local Rich Wyman put on a stellar performance.
