Johnna Roussos, 36 year educator, retiring from Park City schools

PARK CITY, Utah — Johnna Roussos is retiring from the Park City School District, at the end of the school year, after 36 years as an educator. Her roles throughout her time with PCSD include being a first-grade teacher at Trailside Elementary, a counselor at McPolin Elementary, and currently a counselor at Ecker Hill Middle School.

When asked of her favorite memories, Roussos said, “All the hugs and smiles from my students.” And when she retires, her future plans are, “Travel, travel, and more travel.”

“I am so proud to have been an educator for 36 years,” Roussos said. “Working with kids as a teacher and a counselor has brought such joy in knowing that I have made a difference in forming students’ lives.”

Ms. Roussos will be missed by students, staff, and parents throughout the community.
