“The majority of users are businesses,” Ski Utah Partnerships Manager Keane Horner who oversees the Gold Pass said. “Corporate accounts, business based in Park City or Salt Lake City and we do have pass holders in Utah County and up near Ogden. But the vast majority of purchasers of the Gold pass are corporate holders. They are used for employee benefits.”

The Gold Pass sells for $6,150 plus tax with unlimited single-use, no holiday or peak-day black-out restrictions and can be used anytime a resort is open for operation. In addition to great skiing and snowboarding, Gold Passes are also valid for summer lift access at many resorts.

As of April 4, Ski Utah offered former pass holders the opportunity to renew and the remaining inventory was then made available to Ski Utah businesses. As of April 11, Ski Utah started accepting names on a waitlist and Passes will be offered to new applicants in the order in which the pass requests have been received. For those interested, they can sign up for the waitlist here or have the option to inquire about a Yeti Pass. Current pass holders are offered a one month period in order to gather the necessary corporate approvals and funds to secure the pass. Notably, only 200 passes are in circulation each season.

Gold passes can be redeemed at any lift ticket window for an all-day adult lift pass. Lift passes received in exchange for your Gold Pass may not be sold or transferred on or off ski area premises.

For one final season, Ski Utah Silver Pass holders will be given the opportunity to renew before the pass is discontinued. However, Ski Utah is not taking on new pass holders as the product is being phased out.
