Park City Library hosting author of ‘Dragons in the Snow’ on Thursday
PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Library is hosting the author of Dragons in the Snow, Edward Power, on Thursday evening along with Craig Gordon of the Utah Avalanche Center.
Power spent three years following Gordon and many other snow professionals to write the book. They will discuss dramatic stories of accidents, rescues, and avalanche deaths in the mountains of North America and Europe.
The free event starts at 6 pm.
Dragons in the Snow won the 2020 National Outdoor Book Award for Outdoor Literature.
If you are unable to make the event, below is a similar discussion through Mountaineers Books in 2020.
