Historic Main Street’s Snow Globe Stroll

HISTORIC MAIN STREET, Utah — Back for the second year in a row, the Snow Globe Stroll features nine life-size snow globes showcasing Park City winter themes.

Brought to you by the Historic Park City Alliance, the snow globes will be displayed until Wednesday, January 5.

The first snow globe was a product of Austrian inventor Erwin Perzy in 1900. His original intent was to improve the electric lightbulb; instead, he invented a magical winter-themed toy loved by all.

Snow Globes evoke all that is whimsical and magical about the holiday season. They often bring irresistible cheer to the viewer as they watch whirling snowflakes dust miniature scenes of winter.

This winter, nine life-sized snow globes return to Main Street featuring Park City winter themes. The globes become activated via motion sensors as visitors approach. Scan the QR code to be entered to win various gift certificates from a variety of Main Street merchants. You can start your stroll at the bottom, the top, or the middle, but don’t miss a single globe.
