Live PC Give PC kicks off on Friday

PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Community Foundation’s 11th annual Live PC Give PC is set to kickoff this Friday, November 5.

Over 180 local nonprofits rely on this 24-hour event to help raise funds for their diverse work around the community. Prepare to see bright orange shirts on busy street corners on Friday — a symbol of the energy behind the community’s generosity.

“It’s a day where the generous heart of the Park City community is on display,” said Dan Moak, development director for the Christian Center of Park City. “We all come together to support these amazing causes that enrich all of our lives.”

Last year’s event drew around 6,000 unique donors who gave nearly $3.5 million to 113 local nonprofits.

The goal for this year’s fundraiser is 6,500 unique donors. You can explore all of the nonprofits participating and donate here.

To give things a friendly competitive vibe, a leaderboard is tallied for seven categories representing different groups of nonprofits:

  • All-Nonprofits
  • People & Advocacy
  • Arts & Culture
  • Education
  • Keep on Moving
  • Healthy Minds & Bodies
  • Environment & Animal

There will be a Park Avenue street party on Friday night from 5 pm – 9 pm, in front of High West Saloon and Davanza’s. The party is typically inside, but due to Covid concerns will be outside this year.
