Live PC Give PC returns Nov. 6 with $5.5 million fundraising goal

The annual community giving day returns Nov. 6 with 137 participating nonprofits and a goal of raising $5.5 million from 6,800 donors.
PARK CITY, Utah — Park City Community Foundation will host the 16th annual Live PC Give PC on Friday, Nov. 6, bringing together local nonprofits, donors, and volunteers for the community’s annual day of giving.
This year, 137 nonprofits and causes are participating to raise $5.5 million from at least 6,800 individual donors. Since launching in 2011, Live PC Give PC has raised more than $40 million for nonprofits serving Park City, Summit County, and the broader Wasatch Back.
Donations start at $5 and can be made through livepcgivepc.org. Participating nonprofits compete for $47,500 in cash prizes, many based on the number of individual donors rather than total dollars raised.
Early giving is already open, though nonprofits will also be eligible for surprise donation boosts during designated power hours on Nov. 6.
The day will include several community events, including a Giving Day Fest from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Park City Library with live music, food, games, and family activities. Woodward Park City will host an event for school-aged children and teens from 4 to 8 p.m., followed by an evening gathering for donors, volunteers, and nonprofit representatives at High West Saloon from 8 p.m. to midnight.
Live PC Give PC activity will also be visible throughout the community, with volunteers stationed at schools, businesses, street corners and roundabouts.
According to Park City Community Foundation, about 70% of participating organizations also serve communities beyond Park City and Summit County, including the broader Wasatch Back and, in some cases, statewide populations.
