A new holiday gift shop opens at Temple Har Shalom
PARK CITY, Utah — A new gift shop has opened at the Temple Har Shalom (THS). Judaica items for all Jewish holidays, year-round, are available by local, national, and international artists. Chanukah, this year, begins on November 29 and as such, many menorahs are for sale and on sale, among multiple items.
The Women of Har Shalom, a volunteer organization within the THS, manages the gift shop and the proceeds which go back into programming offerings for the Park City community at large. Candles may be purchased from other nonprofits which support, The Autism Society.
“We’re stocking pieces that are unique that one of a kind,” Risa Offit, the Gift Shop Manager said to TownLift.
Eve Stanger, Co-Manager of the shop said, “People who don’t necessarily celebrate Jewish holidays have been coming to us to buy gifts for people they know and love who do.”
Most Friday evenings, from 5:30 to 6:30, the new gift shop is open for shoppers to come in, otherwise, email the gift shop manager here and they’ll arrange to meet buyers at the Temple for immediate perusal, purchase, and/or pickup.
