Kamas’ undefeated South Summit football team does it again
KAMAS, Utah — At 9 and o, the South Summit High School Wildcats remain undefeated this season. The team’s 4 and 0 performance in the 2A North league has it sitting pretty in the first place.
In describing “W”s in sports, they’re are capitalized but this Wildcat team is punctuating the “W”s with final scores like 49 – 0 against Salt Lake City’s Judge Memorial on Thursday and 16 – 64 over American Leadership Academy outside of Provo just the week before, all that is in addition to the big win of 56 – 0 over Ogden’s Ben Lomond earlier in the season.
Home, away, whatever, Kamas is in it to win it.
Big city football is proving no match for this small-town team with its population of 2,350 residents. Parkites who frequent the Kamas Pool, and all it has to offer, are taking notice of the high-performance high school sports taking place in the rest of the campus/stadium as well.
