SALT LAKE CITY — The University of Utah and Utah State University said on Friday that they will be implementing a COVID-19 vaccine requirement for students at their main campuses that are participating in in-person learning.
“A vaccination requirement will be coming but with the ability to opt-out per state law,” Christopher Nelson of the U of U told 2News.
The two universities are still working out details of the plan, but anticipate releasing more information soon.
