Two patients in critical condition following accident on I-80 WB

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — A severe car accident occurred near mile marker 166 on I-80 westbound Sunday afternoon.

According to the Park City Fire District (PCFD), two patients and a dog were extricated from the vehicle and treated.

The patients were transported by two Life Flight helicopters in “critical condition.”

Along with the PCFD, the North Summit Fire District and the Utah Highway Patrol responded to the incident.
