NWS data shows historical significance of flash flooding in Salt Lake City this year

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — Data published by the Salt Lake City National Weather Service office displays the high levels of flash flooding occurring in the county warning area this year.

Despite the rise in the area, southern Utah has dealt with much more severe flooding as compared to the north part of the state.
