City Council candidates vary on campaign financial investment
PARK CITY, Utah. — Candidates for Park City Council have each personally invested and collected a differing amount of cash into their campaigns.
Incumbent Tim Henney has a total of $1,550 collected from donors, he has spent over one thousand dollars and has roughly $500 in his campaign chest.
Tana Toly has collected $9,966.06 in total donations — the most of any Council candidate. She hired two campaign staff members, paying one $3000 and another $1500 in total. She is the only candidate with paid campaign staff.
Jeremy Rubell has invested $3,200 into his campaign. He also collected another $5,483 in donations — bringing in $458 from donors giving less than $50.
Jamison Brandi has collected $2,100 in total donations and has a campaign balance of $749.61.
John Greenfield had over $2,000 in his campaign, most of which came from him or what appears to be his extended family.
Daniel Lewis has collected just over $1,000.
Thomas Purcell has put in over $5,000 of his own money to fund his campaign, despite being absent at the candidate forum this week.
Michael Franchek also self-funded his entire campaign with about $400, not collecting any campaign donations.
The candidates generally spent funds on campaign swag, marketing materials, and websites.
