Sail PC looking for young sailors for Summer camps

PARK CITY, Utah. — Sail PC’s Junior Sailing Camp still has spots available for beginner and intermediate sailors ages 5 to 17. Week one of Sail PC programming begins June 7 and runs through August 13.

The Guppies program offers half-day sessions for kids age 5-7. Beginner sailing is for those with little to no experience on the water and age 8-17. Intermediate sailing is offered to kids age 9-17 with beginner sailing already under their belt. Beginner and intermediate sessions are five full-day sessions.

Sail PC Race Team is for sailors that have completed the Intermediate camps and have the essentials of sailing mastered. Both five-week and 10-week camps are offered to those interested.

Camps run Monday through Friday at the Jordanelle Reservoir, near Hailstone Campground.

Sail PC staff and instructors will keep following CDC guidelines, and face masks will not be enforced. Staff plan to monitor symptoms and ask those not feeling well to stay home, practice social distancing when possible, and continue frequent hand sanitizing and washing.
