Hogle Zoo welcomes newborn zebra named Archie
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah. — This week, Utah’s Hogle Zoo announced the birth of a new zebra, Archie.
Archie is a Hartmann’s mountain zebra and was born on May 31 and he weighs about 100 pounds. The Zoo has described him as “a bit of a mama’s boy.”
Archie is currently in the flex yard with his mother, Poppy. He will join other zebras in the African Savanna exhibit in a few weeks.
Utah’s Hogle Zoo is open daily from 9 am to 6 pm and is located at 2600 Sunnyside Avenue (840 South). Tickets are available online.
