Summit Bike Share bikes are back on Park City streets

PARK CITY, Utah. – The Summit Bike Share system is up and running for the year. With a network of 20 stations and 190 electric pedal-assist bikes, this bike share is a healthy alternative for visitors and locals to avoid cars, traffic, and parking. With Park City’s extensive bike paths and bicycle accessibility, the bike-share program has provided the community with a fun commuter option and sometimes a little bit of an adventure. From Jeremy Ranch to Deer Valley, bike stations are strewn throughout Park City (Summit Bike Share map).

Summit Bike Share was launched in 2017, Summit County and Park City worked together with Bewegen to create the program. Since it started, the bike share has boasted over 100,000 total rides, for over 244,000 miles of travel. Year-to-date, Park City has clocked 242 bike rides and about 1,000 miles.

There are a few pricing options to access the Summit Bike Share. There is an annual membership fee of $96.44, a monthly membership fee of $32.15, or it is $3 per ride. For more information on pricing, click here, or download the Summit Bike Share app: iPhone and Android.
