Park Silly returns to Main Street
PARK CITY, Utah. – The Park Silly Sunday Market will be opening after a year of hibernation due to the COVID pandemic. The first Silly Sunday of 2021 will be June 6. The market will run every Sunday through September 26, with three exceptions on August 1, 8, and 15.
The nonprofit organization has two new market locations with a similar theme as the original here in Park City. Helper Saturday Vibes, located in Helper, UT, and the Park Silly Saturday Market in Sandy, a suburb of Salt Lake City, both will feature open markets with local artists, businesses, food vendors, and music.
“It was such a hard year last year to have no events, and then this year we were wanting to create more opportunities for people to sell and incubate businesses,” said founder Kimberly Kuehn. “Almost like going through a recession and kick-starting again to create more opportunity…because it’s been a really rough year for the small business owners, so my sister Katie and I just said, ‘let’s go bigger!'”
Helper Saturday Vibes will be on select Saturdays through the summer. June 12, 19, July 10, 17, 24, 31, August 14, and September 4 on historic Helper Main Street Park.
The Park Silly Saturday Market starts this weekend and will be hosted at the Shops at South Town every third Saturday until September 18.
There are still vendor openings for all three market locations.
