Wyatt Pike drops out of American Idol

HOLLYWOOD, CA. — Park City’s Wyatt Pike has dropped out of American Idol. Host, Ryan Seacrest, announced on Monday night, “Before we get to the results, I have to tell you that finalist Wyatt Pike will not be competing in the competition. He had to drop out, but we wish him the very best.”

The news was announced during Monday night’s show and confirmed by People Magazine.  A rep for American Idol tells PEOPLE, “Wyatt could not continue due to personal reasons.”

He’s still from Park City and Los Angeles can’t change that.
