Vintage car rally to cruise through Park City this summer

BIG SKY, Montana. — This September, the spirit of the great European road rally is being re-imagined along some of the most challenging, and scenic roads in America with the 2021 Cana-Mex Rally Run! Cana-Mex is one of the most ambitious road rallies in America, taking drivers and their vintage machines more than 1,500 miles from North to South. Crossing 5 states on the eight stages of the rally, teams of drivers and navigators will crisscross through the majesty of National parks, cruise under the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip, journey down historic Route 66, and through the deserts and switchbacks of Nevada to Old Mexico. The most important part about this ‘road rally’ is that it will stop in Park City, Utah. This will allow the community to watch and listen to the engines of some amazing classic and vintage automobiles.

The organizers of the rally, VRROOM (Vintage Road Rallies On Open Motorways) will bring the model of vintage British motorsports to the USA with the goal of getting these beautiful cars out on the road to expose a new and diverse generation to the vintage motorsports hobby. VRROOM aspires to make Cana-Mex its flagship and the first of many rallies, taking different routes across the United States. These routes will highlight the beauty of America and feature its backdrop to offer new, challenging and exciting events for newcomers as well as seasoned veterans of road rallying.
