Over 1,000,000 vaccinations received in Utah

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah. — Today’s milestone was the announcement that 1,013,308 people in Utah have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. That’s almost 44% of all eligible people in the state. Governor Spencer Cox posted the news on his Facebook page, stating,

“This is a milestone worth celebrating, and we hope this number will continue to rise as more and more Utahns choose to become vaccinated. The speed in which we’ve been able to vaccinate Utahns is a testament to the hard work and dedication by Utah’s public health system and our statewide vaccination partners.” — Utah Gov. Spencer J. Cox

He continued to urge the state to find a vaccine provider at Coronavirus.Utah.gov.
