BREAKING: Chimney fire at The Mont Cervin condos in Deer Valley

PARK CITY, Utah. — Fire crews were called out for a commercial fire alarm at The Mont Cervin condos at Deer Valley Resort this evening around 5:30pm. Michele Anderson, FD PIO, said, “The fire started in the chase of the chimney, likely in the fireplace of a room.” People were evacuated from the building as fire crews from multiple stations were deployed including two ladder trucks. Anderson went on to confirm the fire had been extinguished and crews were working on cleanup efforts.

The Mont Cervin is nestled tightly in between the Goldener Hirsch and the Stein Eriksen Lodge.
