Tune-Up Tuesday – Summit Land Conservancy

Join us for a short, scenic hike (less than a mile!) to our Woad Warrior base camp, where snacks and drinks will be waiting. From there, we’ll split into teams, grab our trusty shovels and hand tools, and launch a determined attack on Dyer’s Woad — an aggressive, fast-spreading weed. It’s part adventure, part restoration, and 100% good fun!
(Prefer wheels over walking? There’s an option to drive to the base camp—but a bit of hiking will still be needed to reach the Woad-pulling sites.)

Bring: Long pants, long sleeves, sun protection, warm layers, hat, sunglasses, boots or sturdy shoes, and sunscreen. We will provide gloves and some gardening tools, but bring your favorite weeder.
Bathrooms: There are bathrooms available near the parking area.
Snacks and drinks will be provided!
