Speaker: Jonathan Duncan, photojournalist / environmentalist

Jonathan has over thirty years’ experience working as a professional photojournalist, college teacher and public speaker.

He has taught environmental studies and outdoor education and leadership at Westminster University as an adjunct professor of and is a lecturer at the University of Utah’s Osher Institute.

His work has taken him through many of the world’s most remote and wild places.   Over the last decade he has focused on documenting the changing landscapes and studying the history of Utah’s Great Salt Lake.

This Newcomers event is free; we welcome all from near and far, long-timers as well as newcomers to the area…and all in between!   The Newcomers Club was established in 1995 as a not-for-profit entity to help all residents of Summit and Wasatch Counties learn about and become involved in their community through social, educational, sporting and travel activities.
