“We’ve seen it all!”: Park City Museum announces Glenwood Cemetery tribute and tours

PARK CITY, Utah — Beginning Sept. 1, the Park City Museum will host its annual Glenwood Cemetery tours, with a tribute event on Saturday, Oct. 3, and tours scheduled from 10:45 a.m. to noon and from 12:45 p.m. to 2 p.m.

The tours bring Park City’s mining-era history to life through reenactors dressed as ghosts who stand at gravesites and share stories about life and death in the old mining town. This year’s theme is “We have seen it all.”

Tickets cost $25 per person, and the event is recommended for ages 10 and older. The tours fundraise for the historic cemetery. Space is limited, and reservations are required. Dogs are not permitted.

This year’s characters include Blanche Fletcher, Annie Cunnington, the Corrigan family, William Warren, Ella Sorenson, Nels Blomgren, and Francis Trythall, all portrayed by local volunteers.

The cemetery is located at the end of Silver King Drive, near its intersection with Three Kings Drive. The rain date is Sunday, Oct. 4 for the tribute event.
