PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Soccer Club hosted the annual Park City Extreme Cup Youth Soccer Tournament from July 30-Aug. 1 in Heber, Francis, Kamas, Oakley, and Park City for U9-U19 boys and girls from multiple states.

PODIUM RESULTS:

Winners: Coach Jhofren’s U9 Boys Red Team
Winner: Coach Tobin’s U14 Boys Red Team
2nd Place: Coach Tran’s U14 Girls Team
Coach Zigante’s U15 Boys Team
Coach Mora’s U13 Boys Team
Coach Zigante’s U11 Boys Team

I've lived in Park City for 30 years but right off the starting line, my journalism professors expressed plaudits after class for writing more so about the small-town sports in the surrounding mountains than the urban updates they assigned.
