Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley list Utah estate for $10.6 million

OAKLEY CITY, Utah — Actress Katherine Heigl and her husband, musician Josh Kelley, have put their sprawling Oakley property on the market for $10.6 million.

The couple built the 25-acre estate in 2008 and called it home for nearly 18 years. The roughly 8,000-square-foot house includes six bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms, tucked into a secluded mountain community outside Park City.

According to reports, Heigl and Kelley intend to move into a smaller home nearby rather than leave the area altogether.

Heigl rose to fame playing Dr. Izzie Stevens on “Grey’s Anatomy” and Jane Nichols in “27 Dresses.” Once her Hollywood career took off, she gradually shifted her focus toward a quieter life in the mountains. Heigl, who was raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, first visited Utah on vacation before eventually settling there full time.

While living in Utah, Heigl built a reputation as an animal welfare advocate. She pushed for stronger protections for wild horses and supported state legislation to end the use of gas chambers for euthanizing animals in shelters. She also backed broader efforts to improve how animals are treated across the state.

Heigl and her husband co-founded the Jason Debus Heigl Foundation, an organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming animals in need.
