WASATCH COUNTY, Utah — The Jordanelle Parkway Trail will close Sunday, July 12, at 7 a.m. through Monday, July 13, at 7 a.m. for seal coating, according to Wasatch County.
The work will take place on the paved trail along the northern side of Jordanelle Reservoir. The temporary closure is intended to allow crews to apply a protective coating to the trail surface.
Seal coating helps protect asphalt from water, sun exposure, oil, and other materials that can shorten the life of a pathway.
Pedestrians and cyclists are asked to stay off the trail during the closure and plan alternate routes until the trail reopens Monday morning.
