Deer Valley East Village: where things stand heading into summer 2026

PARK CITY, Utah — Deer Valley East Village, developed by Extell Development Company in partnership with Reef Capital Partners, is the first new alpine ski village in North America in over 40 years. The project is taking shape above the Jordanelle Reservoir in Utah’s Wasatch Mountains, adjacent to Deer Valley Resort’s expanded terrain. The village is opening in phases, with full completion expected in 2030. Here is where things stand.

Canopy by Hilton is projected to open in late July with 180 rooms and a number of food and beverage outlets, marking another step in the area’s commercial offerings taking shape.
Four Seasons Hotel & Private Residences Deer Valley
The Four Seasons is projected to welcome guests for the 2027/2028 ski season, with 134 hotel rooms and 123 private residences, including 8 penthouses, soon to launch for sale in a ski-in/ski-out setting. It will mark the first Four Seasons in Utah.
Tower 1 of Cormont at Deer Valley is projected to top off construction this summer, with an anticipated opening during the 2027/2028 ski season. Tower 5’s residential units and dedicated commercial spaces are also currently under construction and anticipated to be completed for the following ski season.
Marcella Landing at Deer Valley
Forty-eight residential units designed by Olson Kundig are rising on a gated ridge-top site with private access to the Deer Valley East Village. Six additional units are expected to come to market later this summer.
Announced in February 2026, the Waldorf Astoria Deer Valley features a dual-tower design by Kohn Pedersen Fox with interiors by AvroKO. Plans call for 132 hotel rooms and 105 condominiums, with a projected opening for the 2028/2029 ski season.
The opening timeline
The next major milestone comes during the 2027/2028 ski season, when the Deer Valley Skier Services Building, the Four Seasons Hotel & Private Residences, and the first Cormont residential towers are expected to debut. Additional residential, commercial and retail components will come online progressively through the end of the decade, including the Waldorf Astoria, projected to open for the 2028/2029 ski season.
