A caller reported a vehicle idling in a parking lot on Park Avenue for about an hour.

A caller requested to file a report regarding a transient individual repeatedly coming onto a property. Video footage of the individual was available.

Tuesday, April 7

Incident: Impound
Deputies attempted to stop two juveniles riding e-motorcycles who initially tried to evade. They were later located, and the e-motorcycles were impounded due to lack of registration, insurance, and proper licensing. The juveniles were released to their parents.

Wednesday, April 8

Incident: Traffic stop
A driver was stopped near Buffalo Bill Drive and Sidewinder Drive for multiple violations, including no license plate, illegal turn, and no driver’s license in possession.

Incident: Trespassing
A caller reported a man attempting to enter a business multiple times on Kearns Boulevard and harassing an employee.

Incident: Traffic complaint
A caller requested additional traffic enforcement near Monitor Drive and Lucky John Drive due to congestion from a road closure.

A driver was stopped for traveling 78 mph in a 45 mph construction zone on SR-224. After refusing testing and showing signs of impairment, the driver was arrested on multiple charges including DUI, driving on a suspended license, and no insurance.

Saturday, April 11

Traffic cones were reported scattered across both northbound lanes of SR-224.

Incident: Vagrancy
A male was reported sleeping in a sleeping bag near the BBQ area by the skate park on Sullivan Road.

A driver was cited on Kearns Boulevard for driving on the wrong side of the road and failing to obey traffic control signs.

A driver struck a deer near Park Avenue and Thaynes Canyon. The deer ran off and no injuries were reported.
