Park City School District reports district-wide network outage

PARK CITY, Utah — Park City School District is experiencing a network and internet outage affecting systems, phone lines, and email across the district on Friday, April 24, 2026.

An Instagram post shared from McPolin Elementary and PCSD Kearns Campus families attributed the outage to a construction incident. A separate post on Parleys Elementary’s Facebook page for PCSD families stated that the server room lost power overnight. There is no estimated time for restoration.

What parents should know:

  • Schools cannot send or receive emails or phone calls at the school.
  • Families with a critical or time-sensitive need should go to the front office in person.
  • Campus administrators are using mobile devices to stay in contact with the district office.
  • Crews are working to restore service. Updates will be shared as they become available.

Instruction is continuing. The district has asked for patience as staff manage the disruption and keep focus on students.
