Traffic alert: Crash blocks three lanes on westbound I-80 at Parleys Summit

SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — A crash on westbound I-80 near Summit Park is causing significant delays for commuters heading into Salt Lake City Thursday morning.

The incident, reported at milepost 139 near the top of Parleys Canyon, is blocking three of four westbound lanes and the left shoulder as of 8:10 a.m. UDOT estimates clearance by 9:13 a.m.

Drivers are advised to expect delays and use an alternate route if possible. Those coming down from Park City and Summit County should allow extra travel time or consider delaying their departure.
