Summit Sotheby’s Cares to present donations to 50 Utah nonprofits at annual Day of Giving

PARK CITY, Utah — Summit Sotheby’s International Realty host its annual Summit Sotheby’s Cares Day of Giving on Thursday, March 5, gathering real estate advisors, clients and representatives from 50 local nonprofit organizations.
The event marks the culmination of a year’s worth of giving tied directly to the brokerage’s real estate activity. With each home bought or sold through Summit Sotheby’s, a portion of the commission is directed to nonprofit organizations serving Utah communities — turning everyday transactions into a sustained mechanism for charitable giving.
The initiative, which launched in 2010, has grown from an agent-driven effort into a pillar of the company’s identity. Over the past 15 years, Summit Sotheby’s Cares contributions have supported student access to education, food security for families, expanded mental health services, arts and cultural programs, first responder equipment and the preservation of Utah’s open lands and natural landscapes.
“Every transaction is an opportunity to give back to the community we call home,” said Thomas Wright, CEO and Principal Broker at Summit Sotheby’s International Realty. “At Summit Sotheby’s International Realty, we view success through the lens of generosity. The nonprofits that strengthen Utah are what make this place extraordinary, and we are proud to play even a small role in supporting their impact. Our Day of Giving is a powerful reminder that luxury is not defined by what we gain, but by what we give.”
This year’s event will bring together representatives from 50 nonprofit partners, each of whom will receive a donation check generated from Summit Sotheby’s closed transactions. The gathering is designed as both a celebration and a moment of reflection — an opportunity for agents, clients and community organizations to come together in person and witness the tangible results of their collective activity.
The breadth of organizations benefiting from the program speaks to the range of needs Summit Sotheby’s Cares has sought to address across Utah. From after-school programs and hunger relief to mental health access and conservation efforts, the initiative’s recipients mirror the diverse fabric of the communities the brokerage serves.
