PARK CITY, Utah — The Summit County Democratic Party will host its 2026 Community Caucus Night on March 17, inviting residents across Summit County to gather with neighbors, meet candidates, and help elect party delegates.
Caucus meetings will run from 6 to 8 p.m. and will be held at three locations across the county:
- Park City: Park City High School — 1750 Kearns Blvd. (organizers encourage attendees to arrive early for a “signing party”)
- South Summit: Kamas Library community room — 110 N. Main St.
- North Summit: North Summit Middle School — 64 North 100 East
Community Caucus Night serves as a grassroots organizing event where Democrats gather within their local precincts to nominate and elect county delegates. Those delegates will represent their precincts at the county convention, where they will serve as voting delegates in the party’s nominating process.
During the caucus meetings, organizers will also collect names and signatures from volunteers interested in becoming state delegates. State delegates commit to attending the Utah Democratic State Convention on April 25, where they will also serve as voting delegates.
Party leaders say both county and state delegates play a key role in shaping the direction of the party locally and statewide.
In addition to the delegate elections, the event will also give attendees an opportunity to meet Democratic candidates seeking to represent Summit County in the 2026 election cycle.
The party notes that everyone is welcome to attend the caucus meetings.
