Frank Del Duca, Erin Jackson voted as Flagbearers in Milan Cortina Opening Ceremony

MILAN CORTINA — Team USA Olympic athletes Frank Del Duca and Erin Jackson were voted by their teammates to be the official flagbearers for the Opening Ceremony of the Milan Cortina 2026 this Friday.
Jackson, 33, a speed skater, resident of Salt Lake City, and former resident of Park City hails from from Florida. This will be the Olympic gold medalist’s third consecutive Winter Olympics.
The Salt Lake City World Cup silver medalist trains at the Utah Olympic Oval, headquarters of U.S. Speedskating located in Kearns, Utah.
Del Duca, 34, a 2022 and 2026 Olympian, is a bobsled pilot originally from Maine and presently based out of Lake Placid.
The sergeant in the U.S. Army and member of the World Class Athlete Program (WCAP) was video interviewed in Park City at the Utah Olympic Park at the start of the season.
Additionally, according to Utah 2034, Spencer P. Eccles and four other Olympics and Paralympics Podium34 representatives, participated in the Torch Run carrying it through the streets of Milan earlier this week.
