Shred For Red heads to Deer Valley for annual fundraising ski event

PARK CITY, Utah — Deer Valley Resort will host its annual Shred For Red fundraising event on March 28, welcoming spring skiers to a day of on-mountain challenges that support blood cancer research and patient services.
The family-friendly event benefits Blood Cancer United, formerly known as The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and aims to raise awareness and funds to advance efforts to cure blood cancer and improve the quality of life for patients and their families.
Now in its eighth year at Deer Valley, Shred For Red brings together skiers and snowboarders of all ages, including Olympic and Paralympic athletes, for a mix of recreation and fundraising at one of the nation’s premier ski destinations.
Traditionally held in early December, the 2026 event marks the first time Shred For Red will take place in the spring, offering March visitors the opportunity to participate.

- On-mountain scavenger hunt and downhill racecourse
- Opportunity to ski alongside Olympians and Paralympians
- Après-ski reception at Deer Valley’s Snow Park Lodge
To be eligible, adult participants must raise at least $1,000, while children under 12 must raise $300. Registration includes a full-day lift ticket to Deer Valley Resort on March 28.
