Free Sundance Film Festival screenings for local seniors

PARK CITY, Utah — Once again Parkites over the age of 60 can enjoy 2026 Sundance Film Festival movies at the Park City Senior Center at 1361 Woodside Avenue. You must be a member of the Park City Senior Center to participate, but if you haven’t signed up yet, you can join at the screening. Annual membership costs just $10. No one under the age of 60 is allowed to attend these special screenings.
Three films will be shown each day from Friday, Jan.30 through Sunday, Feb. 1. Films will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. The Center will open at 9:30 a.m. and close at approximately 6:30 p.m. each day. Tickets are not required, and you are not required to sign up ahead of time.
There will be no meals served on those days, so bring food and beverages to enjoy and share with others. Come and enjoy Park City’s final Sundance Film Festival in style!
Friday
- 10 a.m. Nuisance Bear, a documentary
- 1 p.m. The Musical, a drama
- 3:30 p.m. Closure, a documentary
Saturday
- 10 a.m. Hanging by a Wire, a documentary
- 1 p.m. Josephine, a drama
- 3:30 p.m. The Incomer, a comedy
Sunday
- 10 a.m. Carousel, a drama
- 1 p.m. Soul Patrol, a documentary
- 3:30 p.m. Seized, a documentary
For those, who have not reached the age of 60 years yet, you can try showing up at least 30 minutes before the following screenings to get on the waitlist for the following free but sold-out Local Lens movies:
Tuner, Jan. 28 at 6 p.m. at The Ray Theatre in Park City
Jane Elliott Against the World, Jan. 29 at 1 p.m. at the Rose Wagner Center in Salt Lake City
Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass, Feb.1 at 2:30 p.m. at The Ray Theatre
Troublemaker, Feb.1 at 2:30 p.m. at the Rose Wagner Center
You will need proof of residency.
