PARK CITY, Utah — Summit County residents and workers visited local coffee shops Wednesday morning for the second annual Mountainkind Morning, trading early alarms for free mugs, hot coffee, and community connection.

From about 7 to 10:30 a.m., the Park City Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau and 15 partner coffee shops distributed Mountainkind mugs—one per person—and complimentary drip coffee while supplies lasted.

Chamber board members and staff were stationed at each location, greeting customers and sharing the Mountainkind message with the community.

“Mountainkind Morning embodies the generosity and connection that define Park City,” said Jennifer Wesselhoff, president and CEO of the Park City Chamber. “It’s an opportunity to share a small moment of joy with neighbors, our workforce and local businesses alike, and a reminder of the strong sense of place we all contribute to.”

Participating locations included Java Cow, Jupiter Java, Atticus, Deer Valley Café, Hugo Coffee, Hill’s Kitchen, Harvest, Salt Box, Pink Elephant Coffee, Lucky Ones, Mix Place, Park City Gardens, The Daily Rise, Urban Sailor Coffee, and Chomp Donuts & Coffee.
