Extraordinary Ordinary Things are now at Park City Library

PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Artists Association is presenting an art exhibit Dec. 1 through Feb. 28 at the Park City Library. Meet the artists at the Opening Art Reception Wednesday, Dec.3 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Extraordinary Ordinary Things

Have you ever found yourself in awe of the most ordinary thing? A sunset, a flower or the fall colors surrounding you can be magical in their simplicity, yet magnificent at the same time. Oftentimes though, we pass by, through, or around these things without a second glance or thought. This exhibit will encourage you to take a moment and allow yourself to be immersed in that which is ordinary, and to walk away with a newfound sense of awe and wonder.

The artwork already attracted attention as it was being carried in by the artists. Britt Sady couldn’t take her eyes off one of Richard Pick’s photographs saying, “That is magnificent.” The exhibit is on the upper floor of the library with larger pieces being displayed in the main area and smaller artwork in the Reading Room. See a large selection of extraordinary ordinary things by a multitude of local artists.
