PARK CITY, Utah — Deer Valley Resort and the new Grand Hyatt Deer Valley are rolling out expanded discounts for service members this winter through the Salute to Service program, offering reduced-rate lift tickets, passes and lodging for eligible military personnel and their families.
The 381-room Grand Hyatt Deer Valley is the first service member resort integrated into a major global hospitality brand in collaboration with the Military Installation Development Authority and Extell Development Company. One hundred rooms are reserved at preferred rates for qualifying service members. The property also introduces North Star, a concierge space designed to assist military guests and enhance their vacation experience.
“It is a privilege to host our military guests and their families at Deer Valley and provide them with an unforgettable ski vacation,” said Deer Valley Resort President & COO Todd Bennett. “We are proud to join forces with Grand Hyatt Deer Valley, whose Salute to Service program and first-of-its-kind concierge assistance have been thoughtfully designed to directly benefit our service members.”
This season marks Deer Valley’s latest phase of growth under its Expanded Excellence initiative. With the opening of the East Village expansion, the resort has doubled its skiable terrain and added seven new chairlifts and 80 new runs. Combined with earlier additions since 2024, Deer Valley now offers 31 lifts, more than 200 runs, seven bowls and 4,300 skiable acres. The East Village also adds 1,200 day-skier parking spaces aimed at improving guest access.
