Nancy Kerrigan to join fellow figure skating Olympians in Salt Lake in Sept.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah —Olympic medalist Nancy Kerrigan and a cast of elite skaters will bring the national figure skating tour Ice Dreams: A Celebration of Dance to Salt Lake City on Wednesday, Sept. 10.
Tour stops blend future youth athletes and established stars thus is being described as, “Where grace meets grit.”
The Intermountain Interclub Association for Figure Skating wrote on social media, “We are building something extraordinary — and the skating community in Utah is leading the way. Don’t miss your chance to perform alongside world-class talent and inspire the next generation. We can’t wait to share the ice with you.”
Kerrigan became famous for her accomplishments in figure skating and for being at the center of a highly publicized scandal involving rival Tonya Harding. She won two Olympic medals, a bronze in 1992 and a silver in 1994, and a U.S .National title in 1993. The infamous incident occurred at the 1994 US Figure Skating Championships, where an assailant clubbed her in the knees, later revealed to be connected to Harding’s associates.
On stage and teaching workshops in select cities will be: Gracie Gold – Two-time U.S. National Champion/Olympic Bronze Medalist, Elli Kam and Danny O’Shea – 2024 U.S. National Champions, Ashley Cain – Olympic Team Member 2022, Andrew Torgashev – Team USA Member/2025 U.S. National Champion Silver Medalist/Two-time U.S. National Champion, and Reagan Moss and Jakub Galbavy – 2025 U.S Junior Pairs Champions.
This event is sanctioned by U.S. Figure Skating.
Workshops will be held the two days prior to the big show, the Figure Skating Club of Park City looks forward to the opportunity to participate.

Skaters participating may vary by location but the Tour has multiple stops which began in April and culminates in Salt Lake City, cities include:
- Green Bay, Wisconsin
- Chicago, Illinois
- Newark, Delaware
- Minneapolis, Minnesota
- Traverse City, Michigan
Some of the above-mentioned locales will have workshops, some will have shows, and some, like Utah’s, will have both. This comes to town in conjunction with the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation whose mission is summed up as follows:
